Descriptions:
Ceramic Fiber Tape, also called Aluminum Silicate Fiber Tape, is an industrial textile woven from asbestos free ceramic fibre yarn. It is a high temperature insulation product with low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, sealing ability, sound insulation and long service life. Its continuous working temperature can reach 1000℃ and its short time use temperature can reach up to 1260℃. Ceramic fiber tape is reinforced with stainless steel wire or glass fibre to enhance its strength. It contains about 16% organic fiber. When it is used at high temperature conditions for the first time, the organic fiber in the tape will burn and appear smoke. This is the normal phenomenon and the property of the tape is not affected.
Applications:
Ceramic Fiber Tape not only has the high temperature insulation property, but also has the flexibility of ordinary textiles. Its applications include industrial insulation of various kilns, burners and furnaces. It is a wrapping and covering material of engines, equipments, insulation pipes, cables, thermal insulation of exhaust pipes, heat radiation shielding. The product can be used as sealing materials for valves, flange connections, fireproof doors and fire shutters. It also can be used as high temperature expansion joint fillers and sound insulation materials.
