Description:
High Silica Mesh is a refractory filtering material which is commonly used in the foundry industry. It is woven from high silica yarn and then treated with HCL. After treatment, the mesh contains 96% Si02 and the working high temperature can reach up to 1000℃ and its soft point is close to 1700℃. It can withstand high temperature of 1600℃ for a short time. In order to reach even higher and more stable temperature, the high silica mesh will be further coated with high temperature refractory coating on its surface. After coating, its working temperature will be as high as 1620℃.

Application:
The high silica mesh is a filtering material which can effectively used to filter molten steel liquid or molten iron liquid for foundry industry. It can remove the slag, high temperature particles, non-metallic inclusions and other impurities from the molten metal liquid to make the castings more purified and promote the castings quality.
