Ceramic fiber module is extensively used as the refractory linings for industrial furnaces because it has the following characteristics:


 

High temperature resistance: Ceramic fiber module can withstand high temperature up to 1350 degrees C for long time use.


 

Low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal insulation: Ceramic fiber module is also called aluminum silicate fiber module. The thermal conductivity of the aluminum silicate fiber products is lower than that of the other thermal insulation materials when they are used under the same conditions, so it has higher temperature resistance property than the other thermal insulation products. 


 

Light weight, excellent stability: The product has characteristics of flexibility, light weight and good resilience. Ceramic fiber module weights 210-240kg/m3. And ceramic fiber blanket for making the ceramic fiber module weights 128kg/m3.


 

Chemical resistance: Ceramic Fiber module has excellent chemical stability. It can withstand alkali and acid.


 

Sound insulation property: It is a good sound absorption and sound insulation product. It has excellent noise reduction effect.


 

Good electric insulation: Ceramic fiber module has relatively high dielectric (electrolyzed) constant and can be used as high frequency insulation materials.
