Thermal conductivity is a parameter of the heat transfer capacity of the thermal insulation material. The thermal conductivity of the insulation product should be as low as possible. So its thermal insulation property is very good.

Ceramic fiber module has high using temperature. The long time working temperature of the module is between 1000-1350 degrees C. This is the relatively high temperature among the thermal insulation materials, except for the temperature of the mullite fiber, which can withstand high temperature of 1600-1700 degrees C.

Ceramic fiber module has a small expansion coefficient. If the expansion coefficient of the insulation material is large, it will cause the deformation or even damage the furnace due to the greater stress after heating. Unlike the conventional insulation materials, ceramic fiber modules do not expand when heated, but have a heat shrinkage rate of < 3%. The modules can squeeze each other tightly when the strapping tapes are released after installation. So it does not need to reserve expansion joints when used.
Ceramic fiber module has excellent chemical stability. It can resist most of acid and alkali and is not easy to oxidation. This can protect the furnace shell from corrosion and extend its service life.
In order to reduce the heat loss of the insulation furnace, the thickness of the thermal insulation layer should be calculated economically. Ceramic fiber modules can be flexibly customized in sizes according to the use environment.
Compared to other thermal insulation materials, ceramic fiber modules have excellent thermal insulation effect.
