Fiberglass cloth 7628 is a high strength, thermal insulation and corrosion resistant fabric woven from high quality fiberglass yarn. It is a plain weave cloth. It can withstand high temperature of 550 degrees Celsius and often can be used in the manufacture of high temperature insulation material, fire insulation protective cloth, reinforced material and so on.

Fiberglass cloth 7628 is very thin and light. The weight of the glass fiber cloth 7628 is only 203 grams per square meter. The thickness of the cloth is only 0.18mm and the width of fiberglass cloth is 1m or 1.27m. Fiberglass cloth 7628 can be divided into E-glass cloth 7628 and C-glass cloth 7628.

E-glass cloth 7628 is very flat and smooth. It contains less than 0.8% alkali metal and has electrical insulation property. It is a high performance electronic grade cloth and is a material to make printed circuit board. E-glass cloth 7628 can be made into various kinds of electrical components and can be used as electrical insulation materials to wrap cables, electric motors and other electrical components. It is also an excellent thermal insulation and anti-corrosion material.

C-glass cloth 7628 contains 11.9%-16.4% alkali metal and doesn’t have electrical insulation property. The cloth can not be made into electrical components and can not be used as electrical insulation material. But it is an excellent thermal insulation material. C-glass cloth is very soft and commonly used in the wrapping of many kinds of objects which require thermal insulation. It also has good corrosion resistant property and can resist the attack of many chemicals.
