Glass fiber is a good sound absorption insulation material which can absorb and reduce the propagation of sound waves and be made into acoustic material. This makes it widely used in acoustic insulation applications. It is useful in noise control and acoustic applications such as noise isolation and sound absorption processing in buildings, automobiles and audio equipments.
